Welcome to my website! I’m a Canadian comic artist, writer, and illustrator. I have a penchant for stories that explore the tenderness and tension of human relationships in a wide variety of genres, from modern slice-of-life to intricate fantasy worlds. Comics are my go-to medium but I am also interested in children’s picture books, cover design and illustrated prose.
I primarily work traditionally in ink and water-based media, and especially have a passion for print media.Having grown up in a Christian family of professional classical musicians, both my musical background and my faith significantly inform my artistic sensibilities. My work often calls on deep emotion and dramatic expression, and explores themes of human vulnerability and limitation, intertwined with redemption and hope.
